This branch is so famous and very important into the world for their creations. On XVII° century, they had the monopoly of the postal system in Prussia.

This branch arrived in Rotterdam on March 14th 1753 with Carolus Bernardus Ellinkhuys, born in Westerholt (Westphalia) on 1726 by Johannes Hermann Ellinghausz and Angela von Voerden. This family is famous for many things.

They were important landowners in Alsace (Trier), they had a famous firm of Jamaican Rum from 1722, they were landowners in Pennsylvenia (USA), they were artists (their work are in a museum in Rotterdam) and nowadays musicians, they financed the America Revolution, they fought alongside Benjamin Franklin, they were maquis in France during the WWII and they were important art collectors. 

Theresia Ellinckhuisen, by Petrus Lambertus Thomas and Margaritha Dubois, married on 1816 Francois t'Kint de Rodenbeke. She is an anchestor of many important families in Europe.

On 1969, S. Laansma wrote in the book "Van Ellinckhuysen tot Ellinkhuizen",  

that this family branch D was extint. But on 2010, Kyara van Ellinkhuizen,

Bertus' daughter (of Family B), discovered a surviving branch in Toulose of

this family D. She got all their birth documents and it is with great pleasure that She announces that this branch D survived and it is still alive in Toulose (France).

This is the family branch of Dutch painter Bertus Johan van Ellinkhuizen (Batavia, Feb. 14th 1939 + 24 March 2012). 

This branch arrived in Rotterdam on 1659 with Jeurien (George), son of Jan (Johan). Jurien was a soldier. He arrived in Netherlands following the Governor. They were feudal noble landowners in Westphalia and in other placesA member of this branch was the consul of Algiers Pieter van Ellinkhuijsen (Ellinckhysen), died on Nov. 1773 in Algiers. Another one, married a cousin of Vincent van Gogh.

Nowadays, some men are ridders in the Order of Orange Nassau. Bertus' first cousin is Loes Fransz, who married to Piet de Ligny. Bertus's wife is Gabriella Rossi Remedi, an italian soprano. Kyara, Bertus' daughter, is a film director and producer. She run for Oscar© 2004. Lucrezia, Kyara's daughter, is a film director, too. She presented her first documentary at the short film corner in Cannes on 2009, at the age of 17 years old. Ginevra, Lucrezia's younger sister, is H.H. Prince Amedeo of Savoy Aosta's daughter, a member of the Italian Royal Family. Kyara is also the chief in charge of the Guglielmita church and helds the title of pope for her church, alias Matriarch of West.

Van Ellinkhuizen Register is held by Kyara van Ellinkhuizen, the daughter of Dutch painter Bertus Johan van Ellinkhuizen.

It is a Register born after years of historical research in historical and theological fields. There are many family histories 

and documents collected. The Register is online and on paper and has been donated to the van Ellinkhuizen Family Foundation.
